Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has assured that his government will ensure that the SMEs across Malaysia continue to develop as they are essential to Malaysia’s development and provide more than eight million job opportunities. Entrepreneurs can build their business ventures under the Semarak Niaga Program with billions of ringgit in funds. Furthermore, the Tekun Nasional Micro Sector Business Recovery Financing Scheme also provides interest-free loans of up to RM10,000, and traders in the informal sector will get priority under this program which has funds totaling RM 200 million. Meanwhile, Agrobank is also offering interest-free loans of up to RM75,000 with a six-month moratorium facility.
