Retail corporation Walmart and e-commerce giants Amazon and eBay have signed agreements with some state governments in India to enable local MSMEs to boost their exports. For instance, Walmart has signed an MoU with the Uttar Pradesh government to create a budding ecosystem for MSMEs and to enable them to access the US market. Meanwhile, Amazon had tied up with the Gujarat government last year to boost e-commerce exports, and eBay will soon be collaborating with the Madhya Pradesh government. Both Amazon and eBay will train MSMEs to start online stores and guide them to sell products across 200 countries.
