New HIRE360 in the city of Chicago has received US$3 million investment for a new Training and Business Development Center on the New South Side, which will support the growth of small businesses throughout the city. New HIRE360 functions to help underrepresented populations like women and people of color to scale up their businesses and find work and apprenticeship opportunities in the construction and hospitality sectors. The new 40,000-square foot facility, which is set to open later this year, will have a culinary training centre, conference rooms, a playroom for children of business owners and workers, and more.
