Indian MSMEs, which were striving to get back on track after being hit hard by the adverse impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, are now panicky because of the new variant named Omicron. As their troubles don’t seem to abate despite their best efforts to get things back on track, the business owners are now apprehensive that the situation will worsen for MSMEs unless they urgently receive the financial support they need. Some MSME owners even fear that the new Omicron threat and associated uncertainties of what lies ahead will wipe out their ability to take easy loans from the market.
