In a fresh round of funding, Invoier, the Stockholm-based fintech startup, has received 4.1 million euros (approximately US$4.8 million) from the EU’s European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund to assist SMEs across Europe by providing them flexible financing.
Invoier, founded in 2018 to create better financing and growth opportunities for SMEs in Europe, manages an Artificial Intelligence-powered transparent marketplace for invoice trading, which helps SMEs transform invoices into working capital. Invoier had earlier received a grant from the EIC to boost its business lending efforts to ensure equal opportunities for growth among the 25 million European SMEs.
