Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and the Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry will collaborate with seven acting banks to provide supply chain financing facilities to production units in various sectors across the country. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed in this connection between the concerned entities in Tehran on 1 January 2022. CBI Governor Ali Saleh-Abadi said implementing this plan will reduce the non-current receivables of banks and make it easier to manage liquidity and monitor the proper allocation of banking resources. The entire framework will be based on electronic invoices, and both banks and manufacturing companies will benefit from it.
