Digitalizing and revolutionizing small enterprises must be the priority of Pakistan’s SME policy as it will open up new avenues for exports and higher foreign exchange earnings, according to the Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCJCCI) President Wang Zihai. Speaking at an online think tank session of the PCJCCI, Zihai, who is also an expert economist, said Pakistan will witness a more egalitarian development if the country’s federal government can make the SME sector boom. Meanwhile, he also emphasized on the need for in-depth analysis before formulating a new SME policy, saying Pakistan can devise a better policy framework only with the help of in-depth analysis.
