SME confidence in the United Kingdom has surged significantly during the last six months, with the projected investments into their businesses rising by 190 percent to £283,500 from £97,719 in February this year, according to a research report prepared by Aldermore Bank.
Elaborating further, Aldermore Bank’s research said small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are planning to invest £283,500 on average, with two out of five contemplating to spend on new equipment (44 percent) and new technology (42 percent). Meanwhile, a third of SMEs (36 percent) intend to invest in greener and more sustainable activities.
