Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has witnessed a 10% growth in loans sanctioned as of September 30, 2021, from August 31, 2020, in its 59 minutes in-principle loan approval scheme for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). While 212,091 loan applications involving Rs 669.91 billion were sanctioned till August 31. 2020, the corresponding figures as of September 30, 2021, were 234,905 loans involving Rs 784.09 billion. Meanwhile, loans disbursed surged 11% from 196,473 loan applications involving Rs 545.45 billion to 218,977 applications involving Rs 640.67 billion during the period under review.
