Hatton National Bank (HNB PLC), a Colombo-headquartered commercial bank, has bagged the Best Retail Bank and Best SME Bank awards at the International Finance Awards 2021 organized by the International Financial Magazine. The awards highlight the achievements of banks and corporates leading in innovation, customer-centricity, and infrastructure development.
This recognition was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the bank’s employees, which have evolved continuously despite the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, said Sanjay Wijemanne, HNB’s Deputy General Manager – Retail and SME Banking. They will continue enhancing their focus on transformative banking by leveraging the power of technology, he added.
