Malaysia has decided to bolster cooperation with 17 Arab countries for the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). SME Corp Malaysia will kickstart the proposal by collaborating with the SMEs Development Agency of Oman and the Small Enterprise Development Fund of Yemen. Meanwhile, Malaysia’s Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives organized an inaugural networking session with diplomatic representatives from 17 Arab countries to foster the integration of its SMEs into the global value chain. It witnessed the participation of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Yemen, Bahrain, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Morocco, Libya, Palestine, Sudan, and Somalia.
