The Government of India has resolved 99% of the complaints received from the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on the Champions portal, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched on June 1, 2020. Revealing this, Shailesh Kumar Singh, Development Commissioner, India’s MSME Ministry, said that more than 40,000 grievances out of the total 41,742 grievances registered on the portal as of December 31, 2021, were related to credit issues. The portal referred to above is the Indian government’s MSME grievance redressal portal – Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern Processes for increasing the Output and National Strength (Champions).
