New Zealand-based Business Link Pacific (BLP) has teamed up with the Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) located in Fiji to support sugar cane growers and other stakeholders by offering them access to capital and funding. This, in turn, will enable Fiji’s sugar cane growers to diversify their income, increase inclusion and contribute to sustainability within the sugar industry. A statement issued by BLP’s SME Finance Facility has revealed that the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is investing NZ$530,000 (F$762,949), which will be made available under the Sugar Cane Growers Fund’s Cane Development Revolving Fund and its priority loans service.
