About 65 SMEs are part of the ‘Scale-up SG program’ unveiled by the Singapore government and overseen by Enterprise Singapore (Enterprise SG). This program was started to fast-track the growth of high-potential local businesses and to assist them in expanding globally. Since the program’s launch in 2019, the 65 participating companies have launched more than 50 business ventures, identified 32 new markets for expansion, and created 500 jobs. The participating SMEs benefit from the advice given by consultancy firms and collaborate with other local businesses. AEM Holdings and Omni-Plus System are two such SMEs that have successfully expanded their product offerings and market in China and Japan, respectively.
