Kuala Lumpur-based AmBank has signed a two-year partnership agreement with Persatuan Usahawan Maju Malaysian (PUMM), a non-profit organization, to strengthen the financial awareness of PUMM members and to provide them with easier access to financing. PUMM has over 3,000 SME owners as its members, and they hail from diverse industries like IT, construction, logistics, advertising, F&B, and others. Furthermore, AmBank will also help many of these SMEs, seeking cross-border opportunities to expand their reach and realize their growth ambitions. Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir, Group CEO of AmBank Group, said this collaboration with PUMM aligns well with his bank’s SME growth and empowerment agenda.
