To support the growth of SMEs, the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) and Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) have teamed up to design products and financing solutions that will cater to the needs of the SME sector. According to NBB’s Head of Structured Finance, Zied Jalali, through this collaboration, his bank aims to provide a package of solutions that will include funding for on-lending to SMEs, trade finance solutions, and payment, among others. This collaboration is also a further step in the ESG journey of NBB and will positively impact Bahrain’s economy while helping NBB achieve its SME financing and sustainability goals.
