Global Finance, an international publication, has conferred its latest ‘Best SME Bank in Nigeria’ award on the Union Bank of Nigeria. Revealing this, the magazine stated that the Union Bank had been bestowed this recognition based on independent research after receiving detailed inputs from various sources and using different criteria such as market standing, breadth of products and services, and latest updates about SME markets and needs. Meanwhile, Union Bank’s CEO & MD Mudassir Amray said this award recognized his bank’s strategic efforts during the last few years to transform its SME platform and offer innovative products and services to clients despite the challenging business environment.
