The Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) is very bullish about India’s fiscal Budget for the year 2023-24 presented by India’s Finance Minister on February 1. Describing it as a pro-business and pro-SME friendly Budget, SICCI Chairman Neil Parekh said it offers many collaborative opportunities for developing close business ties between the SMEs of both Singapore and India. He further revealed that his team at SICCI will soon be contacting the leadership of India’s ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry) with whom they have signed an MoU to explore and tap potential areas of cooperation spelt out in the Indian Budget 2023-24.
