Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), a government agency, has released a series of cloud security guides to help SMEs safeguard themselves against common cybersecurity risks and cyber-attacks. These guides have been developed with Microsoft and include technical security guides that will enable SMEs to understand cyber threats better and protect their cloud environments and infrastructures. These guides will also help them work more effectively with managed service providers or their own IT teams, thereby ensuring robust cyber hygiene. Meanwhile, ACSC has received 76,000 cybercrime reports during the past year, which is 13% higher than the previous financial year.
