Central Bank of India (CBI), a public sector bank, and Mamta Projects Pvt Ltd (MPPL), a new-age, tech, and risk-analytics focused RBI regulated NBFC, have formed a strategic co-lending partnership to provide MSME loans at competitive interest rates. Under this arrangement, while MPPL will originate and process MSME loan applications as per jointly agreed credit parameters, Central Bank will extend 80% of the loans under the priority sector. Meanwhile, MPPL will be responsible for servicing the loan accounts throughout their life cycle. The participation of both entities in this co-lending partnership will enable them to expand their loan portfolios.
