Chinese central government will support 300 service platforms to achieve the digital transformation of 4,000-6,000 SMEs across the country by 2025. It will extend all the necessary support and incentives to the local governments from 2022 to 2025 to enable the latter to implement digital transformation pilots for SMEs. The program will focus on firms in industries ranging from the manufacture of automobile parts, electronic equipment, and chemical and pharmaceutical products, among others. During the current year, the central government will support 100 service platforms with maximum incentives of up to 6 million yuan (US$885,373) for each platform to expedite the digitalization of small businesses.
