Over 70% of SMEs in the United Kingdom have started to bounce back from the adverse impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a survey conducted by the small business lender Capify and supported by Goldman Sachs. Elaborating further, the survey said that 45% of the UK SMEs have already hit or surpassed the pre-Covid levels of turnover, while 26% are expecting to do so within one year. Meanwhile, 38% of SMEs resorted to online sales while another 38% launched new services or products to survive during the lockdown, the Capify survey added.
