The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the launch of the ‘Muwafaq Package’ to promote tax adherence among SMEs and encourage entrepreneurship and innovation across the country. It will provide small business owners in the country with customized services, privileges, and incentives through innovative tax solutions, tailored educational materials about taxation systems, and diverse training programs. Some of the incentives and privileges offered include access to tax accounting programs, software at competitive prices, special offers on tax agent services, immediate appointments with tax relationship managers, and priority to registered SMEs while availing certain services provided by the FTA.
