UK Export Finance, the country’s official export credit agency, extended funding support of £6 billion to SME exporters across the nation over the past 12 months. The credit agency offered total financial assistance of £7.4 billion to UK companies of all sizes for the purpose of exports, out of which £6 billion (or 81%) was solely for SMEs. The agency intends to continue enhancing the availability of the general export facility by collaborating with new delivery partners and using the network of export finance managers to expand its reach to more SMEs having a turnover of less than £10 million a year.
